At this workshop, you get to learn about causa, one of the most popular cold dishes from Peru…and one of the most versatile. It consists of layers of cold potatoes seasoned with chiles and lime with a variety of fillings. The fillings can be anything from tuna to mixed vegetables.
You’ll learn how to prepare this dish and how to add your own creative touch to your causa, making it as unique as you are.
We’ll be going over three types of presentations:
traditional layered causa
cocktail causa balls for parties
This is a great class for cooks of all experience levels and a great introduction to Peruvian cuisine. This is a perfect class for vegetarians and carnivores, alike.
